Fineology LLC built the Fineology promotion exam study apps and this website. This page tells you what we collect, why, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, email support@fineologyllc.com and ask.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information. That information is retained by us and used as described in this policy. Our apps may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you, including Google Play Services and the Apple App Store.

Website Analytics

We log every visit to this website. When you open a page on fineologyllc.com or fineology.app, we record: the page you opened, the site or link that referred you, any campaign tags in the address, the date and time, your browser and operating system, your device type and screen size, your time zone and language, and your IP address together with the approximate city, region, country and internet provider derived from it. We also store a random identifier in your browser's session storage so we can tell how many pages one visit covered; it is discarded when you close the tab.

We use this to understand where our visitors come from, which of our posts and links bring people here, and which devices to build for. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing. It is not combined with your email address unless you choose to give us one through a form.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we do not log the visit at all.

Launch Notification List

If you give us your email address through a form on this website - for example the Lieutenant launch list - we store it so we can email you when that app is ready. We record which app you asked about, the date and time, and the technical information described under Log Data below.

We use that address for the launch email and nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone for their own marketing. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time by emailing support@fineologyllc.com.

Log Data

Whenever you use our Service, in the case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your device called Log Data. This may include your device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

When you submit a form on our website, we also collect technical information along with your submission. This may include your IP address, approximate location (city and region) derived from your IP address, internet service provider, browser and operating system details, device characteristics such as screen size, time zone, language, and the page that referred you to our site. We use this information to understand our audience and improve our products and communications, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy.
